We’ve been nominated as PR Agency of the Year in Marketing’s annual Agency of the Year awards. The nomination is a huge achievement for our team, we are one of only five agencies listed as finalists for PR Agency of the Year.
Marketing’s Agency of the Year awards is hotly contested in Hong Kong, with more than 130 agencies across the city entering in the hope of being recognized as the best of the best. Once again, PLUG has been acknowledged as one of the best PR agencies in the city.
PLUG’s Managing Director, Lara Jefferies, shares her excitement, “I’m so proud of our incredible team, they deserve this acknowledgment. Congratulations to each and every one of our team members and thank you for your hard work. PLUG’s nomination comes in recognition of the incredible job you’ve done. Ours is a single-minded focus on success for our clients. It’s what we do and clients love it.”
We’d also like to thank our amazing clients for their ongoing support and partnerships. Lara says, “In 2016, almost 80% of PLUG’s new business was won by referral, existing client recommendations are our most dominant source of new business. Partnerships are in our DNA at PLUG, our core clients including TREE, TUMI & Nespresso have been with us for years. We work hard each and every day to ensure those relationships are maintained. Those brands feel like our brands, we take the success of our clients personally.”

A quarter of the year has passed already?! We’re consoling ourselves by celebrating renewed relationships with some of our favourite clients. This quarter, we’re delighted to continue working with Bonpoint, Flight Centre, Invisible Kitchen, kikki.K, Nespresso, San Pellegrino, and TREE.
TREE and Nespresso are two brands that hold a special place in our hearts at Plug. We’ve worked with them both since 2011. Together, we’ve won awards, increased sales, delivered incredible stories, hosted memorable events and built cherished professional relationships. Here’s to another six years!
Since 2014, we’ve helped Flight Centre inspire wanderlust across Hong Kong with exhilarating travel stories. In the two years we’ve been working with San Pellegrino, we’ve helped celebrate the city’s culinary talents through the San Pellegrino Young Chef competition, and much much more. Speaking of culinary, if you’re a foodie, you need to try Invisible Kitchen, join us at our Pop Up Picnic in the Park next weekend on Sunday 26th March – a fab way to spend British Mother’s Day. We’ll be toasting to another year as the Invisible Kitchen PR agency.
At Plug, we’re huge fans of mummy and baby fashion and we’re a tiny bit obsessed with children’s French couture house Bonpoint. We have been their PR partner for two years running and we’re looking forward to sharing another year of refined children’s fashion and accessories with Hong Kong media and influencers.
Our favourite Italian children’s shoe brand Gusella continues to delight little people in Hong Kong and beyond. We are delighted that they have picked Plug again for the second year running to introduce their divine handmade Milanese shoes to HK celebrities, influencers and the city’s most prestigious media. How do we get so much done? We’re organized, thanks to kikki.K. And we thank them for renewing our relationship this quarter – we love looking after their PR needs and their local HK social media channels. It’s a worthy excuse to pour through their gorgeous new products and attend all their fab workshops.
Working with two beloved Hong Kong influencers, @samishome and @tinawzq to show how beautiful a work-space can be, kikki.K is now inviting Hong Kongers to visit the City Plaza store to style their #DeskGoals desk and showcase what their dream kikki.K-inspired desk would look like. Then, by simply sharing a picture of their #DeskGoals on Instagram and tagging @kikki.K_hk and #DeskGoals and #kikki.K Hong Kong, entrants could win three kikki.K items each. To inspire creativity, kikki.K will also gift a special greeting card to every participant; as in life, it’s also the taking part that counts! kikki.K #DeskGoals campaign
