Plug Hosts S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 Roundtable


PLUG EVENT: To coincide with the announcement of the regional semifinalists of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 competition, Plug and Sanpellegrino invited three of Hong Kong’s most prestigious chefs to offer their expert insight at an intimate roundtable event for foodie and lifestyle media.
S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 offers young, talented chefs just the opportunity they’re looking for. The program was created by S.Pellegrino to reaffirm its commitment to the promotion of emerging talents and to enhancing and diffusing fine dining culture throughout the world.

Renowned Hong Kong-based chefs Vicky Lau from Tate Dining Room & Bar, Alvin Leung from Bo Innovation and Umberto BOMBANA from 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA shared their views on upcoming talent in the region and how the contest generates valuable worldwide exposure for young chefs. Vicky Lau is on the North East Asia regional jury for the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 competition, while Alvin Leung and Umberto BOMBANA are on the South East Asia regional jury.
